OUR APPROACH
We collaborate with organizations that are in line with our values and dedicated to promoting the empowerment of women and creating communities.
The charities we support are diverse, ranging from providing education for young girls and women who might otherwise be deprived of it, to supporting those who are incarcerated and helping trauma survivors heal through movement and community. The common thread is that every single organization we support is deeply committed to empowering women, establishing safe environments, and fostering a sense of belonging and community.
WHO WE SUPPORT
Amplify’s programs empower and “amplify” the voices of women who have been historically silenced, misunderstood or oppressed. Through its 90 Day Speaker Experience & Speaker Circles, participants discover their confidence, share their unique experience of triumph over the adversity they have endured, and use their voice as an instrument of change.
The School of Leadership, Afghanistan, is the first and only of its kind operating anywhere in the world, providing rigorous full-time education for Afghan girls. Now located in Rwanda, its vision is for a generation of compassionate and confident Afghan women with the leadership skills to rebuild and guide their homeland into a better future.
On The Inside builds creative connections for incarcerated women, both individually and collectively, through sharing stories, igniting hearts, and sparking dialogue. The team holds weekly circles featuring creative prompts where each woman has a voice in the room to express themselves, as well as providing additional creative outlets.
Exhale to Inhale works with those affected by domestic abuse and sexual violence to transform their lives through trauma-informed yoga. They offer classes for survivors, partner agency staff, and the community at large. They also train teachers, leaders, and counselors to support their communities in a trauma-informed way.
UWC
The Atlantic’s Women for Change Circle is a dedicated group of women who mentor and support young girls from disadvantaged backgrounds and allow them to access education. Circle members, including our founder Ana Pincus, provide financial scholarships and donate their time and talent, acting as mentors for these young girls across their two years of study.
